About Us

Designer Anne Hughes

Designer Anne Hughes studied art at the College of Charleston and continued her artistic education at Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy. After studying under jeweler Franco Alocci, Anne returned home to expand her jewelry line. From childhood, Hughes was fascinated by the fine jewelry and gems imported by her South American grandmother. Hughes grew up surrounded by artists and considers herself a lifelong student of art and fashion. "I find inspiration in the style and beauty of my friends," said Hughes. "Each major piece is designed with a specific person in mind." Hughes currently designs two major collections a year, and offers smaller collections of seasonal pieces. In addition, Hughes designs one-of-a-kind, privately commissioned pieces for Anne Belen’s sister line, Ramona Couture.
